Community - Your Community is important in every aspect of your life

Connect and Grow Magazine - Edition 6 February 2024

We have included a FREE download for you to use as you focus on living a life that is right for you.

Last month, we provided you with a FREE tool to use as part of embracing your life, and we are keeping it available again this month, link at the bottom of the article.

Being surrounded by a community that empowers you personally and professionally is important.

There will always be people in the world who support you for their own gain and not for your growth; however, when you find your people, the people who are there for you and accept you for who you are, you are going to grow and enjoy your life even more.

Community looks different for everyone... What does your community look like?

Good friends and mentors make a huge difference to your success.

They understand YOU the person!

Dave Thompson from Inspirational Book Writers, we featured Dave last month; you can check out that article here:

Recently, while on a family trip, I had the opportunity to catch up with two amazing people in person who are part of my community.

Whilst we do not get to see each other in person often, we are part of our online community and know that we are only a phone call/message away anytime we may require each other.

For some people, online community is their only community, and for others, they love their community to be in person.

Reflections

To help you connect with your community more, it can be useful to answer these questions as a way to help identify the right community for you.

Do you enjoy interacting with people in person?

Do you prefer to interact with people via video calls?

Do you prefer group activities or one-to-one?

What are your hobbies that you are passionate about?

Do you enjoy going to markets, movies or cafes?

Each of these questions can help you know where to find the right people that match your goals and passions.

Remember that as you connect with the community more to have health boundaries in place.

We have a FREE downloadable checklist for you to use to help check in about your Health and Well-being.
